When I took my family to see the first Killington Hay Festival in 2008 (photos), the hay bale sculptures we encountered were more impressive than I'd even imagined. Two years later, I'm pleased to report that this Killington, Vermont, fall tradition is more amazing than ever with hay creations that are colorful, clever and larger than life.
The towering hay bale animals and other imaginative sculptures are scattered along Killington Road and Route 4, and according to the Killington Chamber of Commerce, they will remain on display through October 31, 2010.
