What is Farm Aid?:
Farm Aid is a Massachusetts-based non-profit that raises both funds to sustain farming families and awareness of the plight of America's farmers. The annual Farm Aid benefit concert has been the organization's signature event since Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp organized the first Farm Aid in 1985.
Since 1985, Farm Aid has raised more than $30 million to support programs that help small farm businesses thrive and promote consumption of food from family farms.

Farm Aid 2008 will be held on September 20 from noon until 11 p.m.
Where is Farm Aid 2008?:
The 2008 Farm Aid concert will take place at the Comcast Center (formerly the Tweeter Center and before that Great Woods) in Mansfield, Massachusetts. This marks the first time the concert has been held in New England.

Concertgoers can also visit interactive exhibits and learn more about issues such as sustainability.
