Walden Pond
in Concord, Massachusetts, has been on the map since 1854 when writer Henry
David Thoreau's book, "Walden," debuted. Thoreau spent two years and
two months living a self-sufficient life on the shores of Walden Pond in a tiny,
one-room cabin. You'll see a replica of Thoreau's humble abode as you continue
this virtual visit to Walden Pond. |
