Reader Recipe: Baked Clams

Ingredients:
  • 2 dozen clams
  • 8 tablespoons olive oil
  • 10 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup fresh bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • lemon wedges
Preparation:
Put clams in freezer for 20 minutes. Loosen them, save juice and bottom shell to put clam in. Heat garlic gently in olive oil until light golden brown. Spread very little on each clam and mix remaining with bread crumbs. Sprinkle to cover clams and top with oregano.

Place in baking dish and bake for 25 minutes at 375 degrees.
