Built in 1938, the Koussevitzky Music Shed is Tanglewood's oldest and largest venue. This acoustically refined, open-air structure seats 5,100. If you want to ensure you'll have a dry seat and a good view of the stage, you'll want to opt for tickets inside the Shed instead of lawn tickets.
