A Sure Sign of Spring Nantucket in the Spring

The Massachusetts island of Nantucket lies 26 miles off the coast of Cape Cod, but a world away, especially in the springtime before summer's crowds arrive.
Daffodils are a sure sign of spring on Nantucket. From early April through the middle of May, more than 3 million daffodils bloom on the Massachusetts island. The Nantucket Daffodil Festival is held the last weekend of April each year.
