Most folks think "little burgers" when they think of sliders, but hot buttered lobster sliders are the perfect fun-sized sandwiches to serve at a party... especially when the New England Patriots play!

Best of all: While lobster sliders sound decadent, they are oh so easy to make, especially if you're lucky enough to have a grocery store nearby that will cook your live lobsters while you shop. Here's my easy recipe for six lobster sliders: the perfect serving size for our family of three. If you're expecting a larger crowd, adjust accordingly.

Tail and claw meat from two 1-1/2-pound cooked lobsters
1/2 lb. (two sticks) butter
6 split-top dinner rolls

Boil or steam lobsters, or, to save time, ask if your local fish market or grocery store fish department will cook lobsters for you.

Crack lobsters and remove meat from claws and tails. Shelling lobsters is easier when they are chilled. Cut lobster meat into bite-sized chunks.

In a sauté pan, melt butter. Add lobster meat and stir until warmed through.

Cut a slit in the top of each dinner roll. Fill with hot, buttered lobster.

Serve right away.
