Abbott's Lobster in the Rough is located in Noank, Connecticut. This seasonal, waterfront seafood shack on the Connecticut shoreline is a bit off the beaten path, but it's worth the drive. In addition to New England's best lobster rolls, Abbott's Lobster in the Rough also offers plenty of other seafood temptations: Be sure to try the steamed clams.

Driving Directions

Take exit 89 off I-95. If you are traveling northbound on I-95, turn right at the end of the exit ramp. From southbound I-95, you'll want to turn left.

Proceed on Allyn Street straight through the light at Route 1 onto West Mystic Avenue. At the second stop sign, turn right onto Route 215. In 1.5 miles at the first stop sign, turn left and follow Mosher Avenue into the village of Noank.

As Mosher Avenue curves, it becomes Ward Avenue. At the stop sign just after the fire house, turn left onto Main Street, then watch for an immediate right onto Pearl Street. Continue on Pearl Street (there are speed bumps, so drive slowly) to Abbott's Lobster in the Rough on the left.

Lost? Call Abbott's at 860-536-7719.
