Riding Hartford's Free Star Shuttle

If you're visiting Hartford, Connecticut, with kids, the free Hartford Star Shuttle makes getting around the city quick and easy. We rode the shuttle for the first time after taking our almost-three-year-old to see "Sesame Street Live" at the Civic Center (now the XL Center). We certainly covered more ground than if she'd had to walk. The shuttle also opens up additional parking possibilities for anyone in town to see a concert, basketball game or other show.

If you'll be riding the Star Shuttle with kids, keep in mind that there are no seatbelts or safety restraints of any kind. It's important for everyone, especially little passengers, to remain seated because the shuttle bus makes frequent stops.
