Lizzie Borden Bed and Breakfast
The home in Fall River, Massachusetts, where Lizzie Borden allegedly axed her parents is now a bed and breakfast inn. Guests are treated to a breakfast similar to the one the Bordens ate on the morning of the murders, which includes bananas, johnny-cakes, sugar cookies and coffee. That should be enough to creep you out--even if there are no ghosts in the house.
The Orleans Inn
Ed Maas, owner of the Orleans Inn on Cape Cod, says that during the Roaring '20s, the inn was a brothel, and "one of the ladies was murdered. We have named her Hannah, and she is quite happy here at the inn. She opens doors, turns on lights and lights candles. She makes her presence known through a cool breeze of air from no known source. She also has appeared as an apparition."
Penny House Inn & Day Spa
