I couldn't help but admire my little girl's confidence. I was an adult when I took my first ski lesson. It did not go well: I landed on my head. I'd often heard that starting young is the key to learning to ski, so I was delighted my daughter would have the opportunity to tackle her first mountain at four years old. Okemo actually offers one-on-one lessons for kids as young as two. The Star Booster program introduces the sport using a comfort-building approach. My husband and I were impressed by Tolaro's experience; she's been teaching at Okemo for 15 seasons.
