It's the calm before the Frankenstorm! This is the scene outside my window at noontime as New England braces for the arrival of Hurricane Sandy. I'm incredulous that exactly one year after 2011's bizarre October Snowstorm, we are once again facing a storm of potentially devastating proportions. While my thoughts are with those along New England's shore, who face greater potential danger from coastal flooding, I'm also sure that the scene I'll see tomorrow morning will look very different from this.
