Each year, The American Bus Association (ABA) selects North America's Top 100 Events. While the focus is on choosing those events that make great motorcoach destinations, the top events are a diverse selection of festivals and celebrations that you'll enjoy no matter how you get there! This year, the ABA's Selection Committee tapped 14 New England and New York State events for the Top 100 List.
Here's a round-up of the events in New England and neighboring New York that made the Top 100 List:

French and Indian War 250th Anniversary Commemoration
Crown Point, Lake George, Ogdensburg, Oswego, Rome, Ticonderoga and Youngstown, New York

Re-enactors will portray British, French and Colonial soldiers and their Indian allies as New York continues its commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the French and Indian War, fought from 1754 to 1763. There will be 13 events held this year. The signature 2007 event--the reenactment of the August 1757 siege of Fort William Henry in Lake George--will be held September 15-16.

National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum's Annual Induction Weekend

If you haven't been to Cooperstown in a few years, this is the summer to visit. The 2007 induction ceremony on July 29 will welcome baseball legends Tony Gwynn and Cal Ripken Jr. to the Hall of Fame. Admission to the induction ceremony is free, and other events are planned throughout the weekend.
