The easiest way to save on admission to Six Flags New England is to use the park's Print-N-Go option. Purchase discounted Six Flags New England tickets online from the comfort of your home at any time, then simply present your printed, pre-paid ticket and photo ID at the theme park ticket gate. For 2013, you'll pay just $44.99 (the kid's price for everyone) instead of the $54.99 those 54" and taller are charged at the gate. There is a $5.99 per order processing fee.
2. Free Six Flags New England Admission with the Go Boston Card
The Go Boston Card entitles the bearer to admission to more than 50 Greater Boston attractions, including Six Flags New England. The theme park is located 90 miles from Boston in Springfield, Massachusetts, but if you plan to mix sightseeing in the city with a day at the park, you may save money by investing in a multi-day Go Boston Card. You'll need to arrive at Six Flags before 5 p.m. to use the Go Boston Card for admission. Redeem your Go Boston Card for an admission pass at the Group Sales window when you arrive at Six Flags New England.
3. Buy a Six Flags New England Season Pass and Save
If you plan to visit Six Flags New England for two or more days during the 2013 season, you'll save money by buying a Season Pass: Each Regular season pass is just $64.99 (on sale for just $54.99 if you purchase four or more). Season Pass holders also get other park perks, such as free tickets for friends on select dates and a coupon book with discounts on food, games and souvenirs. Season pass holders are also admitted free to other Six Flags theme parks nationwide. Save even more with the Gold Season Pass, which includes unlimited free parking at all Six Flags theme parks, early VIP entry at Six Flags New England and its water park and more bring-a-friend free tickets for select dates. Gold Season Passes are $109.99 or just $64.99 if you buy four or more.
4. Get Cheap Six Flags New England Tickets at Your Local AAA Office
Are you a AAA member? Then you can save money on admission to Six Flags New England by presenting your AAA card at the gate, and you may be able to save even more by purchasing discount tickets in advance. Show your AAA card at the gate to save $5 on up to six adult admissions; You'll also save 10 percent on retail purchases of $15 or more at Six Flags New England when you show your AAA card.
You may be able to save even more by visiting your local AAA office before your trip to the amusement park. When I checked with my local AAA in Connecticut this year, a discounted Six Flags New England season pass was available for $54.99: a $10 savings. They did not yet have one-day tickets available in early April but expected the price to be similar to 2012, when AAA offered tickets for adults and children for $31.
5. Save on Six Flags Tickets with Your Discover Card
Discover Cardmembers save 5% instantly when they use Discover to purchase Six Flags New England individual tickets or season passes online. Your Discover card will also save you money at the park on admission, season passes, parking, food, merchandise, VIP tours and more. Plus, show your Discover card, and you can beat the crowds and enter through the Discover Cardmember Entrance Lane during the first two hours of park operation each day.
6. Six Flags New England Coupon for Campers
Campers who stay at Sodom Mountain and Southwick Acres Campgrounds, located near Six Flags New England, can print this online coupon and redeem it at the campground office for discounted Six Flags New England tickets. The price with the coupon is $34 for all ages. This one-day pass may be upgraded at Six Flags New England for an additional $19.99 (a total of $53.99) for a 2013 Season Pass.
7. Pick Up a Six Flags New England Coupon at Dunkin' Donuts
If you're lucky, you may find a Six Flags New England coupon at a Dunkin' Donuts shop in the region. Although I have not yet spotted a 2013 coupon, Dunkin' Donuts outlets are usually a reliable place to find coupons that offer significant savings for park-goers. I'll supply full details once I have a coupon in hand.
8. Six Flags New England Military Discount
According to the theme park's FAQ, "Most military bases offer discounted admission tickets at their MWR/ITR offices." There is no military discount at the park for 2013.
