A World of Holiday Marvels

The Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut, has always impressed visitors with its larger-than-life displays, including the world's largest planetarium dome and the massive Taughannick Falls. For the third year in 2007, Mohegan Sun will host its World of Holiday Marvels featuring an amazing collection of over-the-top decorations, including towering Christmas trees, four-foot ornaments and life-like "ice" creatures. The pièce de résistance will once again be a life-sized, walk-through gingerbread house. The 24-foot-tall edible abode, with its cupola and weathervane, is guarded by four, 7-foot-tall gingerbread soldiers this year. These photos from Mohegan Sun's first World of Holiday Marvels in 2005 will give you a preview of what you'll see. Don't miss the 2007 holiday display, which kicks off on November 27 with a tree lighting ceremony and runs until the new year.
