Carnival Towel Animal

Each night aboard Carnival Glory, there were two new towel animals to delight my little girl. When we returned home, she immediately made mommy and baby towel ducks for a baby shower!

Thanks to our steward, even bedtime was magical for our stuffed animal-loving little girl, who couldn't wait to return to our cabin at night to see what towel animal creations were inhabiting our beds. On our last night aboard Carnival Glory, she was momentarily miffed when there was no new addition to the menagerie... until she spied the mommy and baby monkeys dangling from the ceiling!

Carnival Cruise Lines is famous for its towel origami turn-down tradition, which delights passengers of all ages.

At Camp Carnival, my daughter learned to fold a towel scorpion, bunny, dog, elephant and seal, and I observed and photographed the all-ages towel folding class, where cruisers learned to create towel elephants. With $1 from each sale going to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, I couldn't resist surprising my munchkin with the Carnival Towel Creations book, which she had our steward and server sign. She couldn't wait to shop for hot pink towels when we got home to Connecticut. And the other night... I found a pink stingray in my bed!
