International Auto Show is in Boston
There's still time to catch the excitement of the New England International Auto Show at the Bayside Expo Center in Boston. This 42nd annual event offers a glimpse of what's to come in automotive technology in the 21st century. According to the Boston Herald's preview of the event, "One of the most unusual sports coupes on view has to be BMW's new M Coupe, looking like a cross between a pony car and a hatchback. The flaring fenders and squat shape, not to mention the loud two-tine interior, are sure to elicit strong reactions." You'll see all of the new 1999 cars, plus exhibits highlighting new technology. The show runs daily through this Sunday, November 8, and admission is $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 6 to 12. Children under age 6 are admitted free. Check the show Web site for directions and hours, or for more information, call toll free: 800 258-8912. A map of the exhibit hall showing locations of exhibitors is also available online.
