The heart-breaking events of Tuesday, September 11, 2001 continue to impact travel nationwide. Here is a collection of helpful links and telephone numbers for New England travelers and for those seeking information on passengers who may have been aboard the two hijacked planes that departed from Boston:

Airline emergency numbers for family members and friends inquiring about loved ones have been established by American Airlines - 800 245-0999 and United Airlines - 800 932-8555.

For information on when Boston's Logan Airport will re-open, visit http://www.massport.com. Also check the list of the FAA's new security procedures for U.S. Airports and the status of their implementation at Logan.

If you are returning to Logan, you should be aware that all cars parked in Terminal B parking facilities have been relocated to Suffolk Downs. For further information, see this Massport Media Advisory or call (617) 568-3100.

For information on other New England airports, visit the following airport Web sites:

Bangor International Airport - Bangor, Maine
