Lobster Omelet Recipe from MElobster.com

New England and lobster go together like Seattle and coffee, like New York and bagels, like New Orleans and gumbo. Wherever you go in New England, you'll find lobster on the menu... even McDonald's has a lobster sandwich available at some of its New England locations!

For lunch, there's lobster roll, lobster chowder, lobster bisque, fried lobster in a basket.

For dinner... whole lobsters, baked stuffed lobsters, Lobster Newburg, lobster stew, lobster tails.

With all the many delectable ways to prepare and serve lobster, it truly was only a matter of time before someone suggested lobster for breakfast! Still, I had to rub my eyes when I spotted a small headline in the Food section of the Hartford Courant in August of 1999 that read, "Morning Lobster." I immediately typed the link from the article into my browser, and voila! I was at the MElobster.com Web site, where, as the article promised, I found a recipe for a Lobster Omelet! This recipe with an Oriental flair calls for boiled lobster meat, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, scallions and soy sauce. MElobster.com also provides recipes for Lobster Bisque Dewey and Lobster Cantonese, plus information on how to cook and eat lobster.

So the next time you're looking for something special to do for your New Engand sweetie or the lobster lover in your life... think lobster in bed! Bon appetit!
