It's Not a Dream!
All-you-can-eat Ice Cream, Free Music
Make 10th Ben & Jerry's Fest a Treat

Dateline: 04/12/00

Wake me up... I must be dreaming! All-you-can-eat Ben & Jerry's ice cream?

Actually, a press release sent out this week by Vermont ice cream maker Ben & Jerry's assures me that it's true. Mark your calendar for Ben & Jerry's Tenth Annual One World One Heart Festival--a free outdoor festival with live music, culinary delights from local vendors, arts and crafts, enlightening activities, and unlimited ice cream for all!

The festival takes place Saturday, June 24, 2000 from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. at Sugarbush Resort in Fayston, Vermont.

You'll of course want to try all of Ben & Jerry's New Moolenium flavors: Nutty Waffle Cone, Orange & Cream, Southern Pecan Pie, World's Best Chocolate, Ooey Gooey Cake Frozen Yogurt, and Blondies are a Swirl's Best Friend low-fat ice cream.

Last year, more than 30,000 visitors flocked to the Ben &
Jerry's One World One Heart Festival. If you're planning to be among the ice cream worshippers present this year, call toll free, 800-BJFESTS, for more information or visit the Ben & Jerry's Web site. The musical line-up for the festival will be announced in May.

About Ben & Jerry's:
Ben & Jerry's Homemade, Inc., the Vermont-based manufacturer of ice cream, frozen yogurt, and sorbet, was founded in 1978 in a renovated gas station in Burlington, Vermont, by childhood friends Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield with a $12,000 investment ($4,000 of which was borrowed). They soon became popular for their innovative flavors, made from fresh Vermont milk and cream. The company currently distributes ice cream, low-fat ice cream, frozen yogurt, sorbet, and novelty products nationwide as well as in select foreign  countries in supermarkets, grocery stores, convenience stores, franchised Ben & Jerry's scoop shops, restaurants and other venues.
