What a surprise! Ye Olde Tavern is located in a beautiful building, built circa 1790. The food is fine dining with an emphasis on New England and Continental fare. We are wine people and found this restaurant in Wine Spectator magazine. Its wine list has an emphasis on American but does have a nice blend of international wines. The
service is attentive and quite friendly, and they play classical music (my favorite). I would recommend this place when in Manchester, Vermont, or even if you are within
20 miles. It is worth the drive.
