We hadn't been to The Yankee Clipper Inn in about 10 years and recently returned. The inn has been transformed! The room we have always stayed in has now become a luxury retreat! We enjoyed magnificent European antiques in our room including the most beautiful French armoire and vanity. The linens and towels are all fine Egyptian cotton--perfect after enjoying the Jacuzzi tub! We watched a complimentary movie from the DVD collection and enjoyed the view of waves crashing on rocks, always breathtaking, made more so by a storm! The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the staff helped us make reservations. While we were there, they were in the process of redoing the dining room, with plans for opening a new restaurant. We look forward to returning more often to enjoy this fabulous place! |
