Manhattan on Pearl Guest Review submitted by: Jackie Rating: Four Gold Leaves. Very good.
We were out on Saturday night with another couple in center downtown Nashua, which has turned into a little dining hotbed in southern New Hampshire. As we parked at our favorite downtown Spring Street location, we stumbled upon this very swanky tapas lounge called Manhattan on Pearl (East Pearl is one way toward Main Street). We thought we would have a martini before moving on to a nearby seafood destination. Rip, our most knowledgeable waiter, proceeded to educate us on the advantages of taking the edge off their very potent martinis with a smattering of tapas appetizers. Before we knew what hit us, we were on our fourth order of these delectable small plates, and I was placing my order for the poached salmon with a wonderful mango/fruity accompaniment (special entree of the day). It was baked to perfection. I finished with the fried bananas (wow) and an espresso. It was a wonderful experience. After all was done, $175 plus tip. We will be back. Thumbs up! |
