Carpenter & Main Guest Review submitted by: Sarah Rating: Five Gold Leaves. The best!
All of the food at Carpenter & Main is really made in-house, from warm trout soufflé to ice creams to breads and real bouillabaisse! I didn't want my meal to end. Fresh, local produce and cheeses are used. The 8-ounce, grass-fed Vermont beef burger with Béarnaise sauce on home-made English muffin with hand-cut French Fries is to die for. Potato rolls are served warm. Carpenter & Main offers both a bistro menu and fine dining. Fine dining selections include pate and escargots. The chef/owner has a magical touch. He trained in France and grew up in Vermont. The restaurant is located minutes from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. |
