Camping on the Battenkill Guest Review submitted by: Smee Rating: Five gold leaves. The best!
The entire place is so safe that I felt comfortable allowing my young children (ages 7 and 9) to bike around together without me. Campfires at night are always a fun family event. The owner, who has become our friend over the years, walks around and seems to know everyone. She is incredibly nice, as is everyone else there. The restrooms (with toilets, sinks, mirrors and showers) were always clean and had hot water. The campground itself is so much fun that you could stay there, or go to a restaurant, get ice cream or go shopping without driving far at all. (I'd say 20 minutes tops!) If you truly want a great time, try this place out for yourself! Submit
