On a recent trip down the historic, north side of Cape Cod on Route 6A, I discovered this neat old Colonial Tavern. Styled on a classic English pub, the interior was very warm, cozy, and VERY authentic. The menu was very diverse with a great selection of salads or sandwiches if that's all you want, to a full menu of entrees as well. They have lots of fresh fish, and the food seemed very "real" with lots of "homemade" touches, like their desserts with FRESHLY whipped cream!!! Hadn't seen that since I was a kid. Everything I ate was delicious. If you go to Cape Cod, don't miss a visit to Sandwich and this wonderful old place!!! The prices are very reasonable, too.
