The Atlantic Oakes by the Sea is a beautiful resort on the ocean in Bar Harbor. Very helpful staff. Unbelievable views, and a little out of town, so much quieter. Very clean rooms with balconies to enjoy the ocean. Was there a few years ago for a reunion in the conference center, and the food was amazing. Went again last year and checked out the B&B (The Willows), which is in a gorgeous mansion overlooking the ocean. Indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, pebble beach, delicious breakfast buffet in the morning. Highly recommended!
