A Slice Of Heaven In Vermont

We thought we should comment on the wonderful visit we had to the Belding House and share our thoughts with you. Innkeepers Larry and Clif are dedicated to the absolute comfort of all those who are fortunate to cross their threshold. They are professional pamperers who genuinely enjoy people and stimulating conversation. There is an incredible attention to detail, and they even iron the sheets!

We had a delightful four-day visit with scrumptious breakfasts and a continuing feast of treats! Picture this: It is early October, the leaves are showing off their blazing colors, and the surrounding mountains are covered like a glowing quilt. We're seated on plush apricot velvet cushions in a charming room, loaded with antiques acquired during the hosts' many international trips; the fireplace is ablaze; we're sipping a huge mug of hot chocolate topped with cinnamon whipped cream, and a bowl of candied walnuts is offered in case we haven't had enough of a sugar shot! And, to complete the atmosphere, Ella Fitzgerald is singing Cole Porter and Gershwin tunes.

Now, if this isn't heaven, we don't know what is! Come on and become a hedonist and share this great experience. Warmest wishes from appreciative fans! ~Audrey & Ron Schlein
