Tanglewood is located in Lenox, Massachusetts.

From New York City and New Jersey, head north on the Taconic State Parkway to the New York Thruway. Follow the Thruway east to Exit 2 on the Massachusetts Turnpike. Alternatively, take the Taconic State Parkway to 295 east to 41 south to Tanglewood.

From Connecticut go north on I-91 to the Massachusetts Turnpike. Take the Turnpike west to Exit 2.

Signs mark the route from Exit 2 to Tanglewood; the music center's main entrance is 1.4 miles west of Lenox Center on Route 183 (West Street). From the Turnpike exit 2, you'll turn right and follow US 20 West through Lee for about 4 miles. Turn left onto MA Route 183 South. After a quarter mile, MA 183 merges with MA 7A North. Continue two-tenths of a mile, and when MA 7A forks to the right, continue straight on MA 183 South for another mile. The main entrance to Tanglewood will be on the left.
