Springtime in Paradise

This juried contemporary craft and fine arts show features 220 exhibitors plus music and a gourmet food fair. Boston magazine has called Paradise City-- "The coolest collection of for-sale art around!"

The Tri-County Fairgrounds in Northampton, Massachusetts.

Hours:

Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to
6 p.m., and Sunday
10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Regular Admission Prices:

$8 for adults, $5 for seniors, and $2 for
children. Parking is free.

Official Rules - Paradise City Arts Festival Sweepstakes

Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 PM EDT on May 18, 1999 and ends at 7:00 PM on May 28, 1999. Sweepstakes is open to any individual age 21 or older as of May 18, 1999 who is a legal resident of the United States and who had Internet access prior to May 18, 1999.

Entrants must be present in the United States at the time they enter the Sweepstakes. To enter, fill in your first and last name, email address, and mailing address on the entry form and click on the "Enter" button. Altnerate means of entry: hand print on a 3" x 5" postcard your first and last name, street address, city, state, zip code and email address (if any), and mail it to: New England for Visitors/Paradise City Sweepstakes, Attention: Kim Knox, c/o About.com, 220 East 42nd Street, 24th Floor, New York, New York 10017.

Limit one entry per day per entrant during the entry period.

Entries are void if they contain typographical or other errors. Entries which are mutilated, altered, incomplete, tampered with, illegible, inaccurate, forged, irregular in any way, or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules are also void.

Winners will be selected in random drawings of all eligible entries received on or about May 28, 1999.

The winner will be notified by email. The odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received.

PRIZES

Six winners will win the following: two one-day admission passes to the Paradise City Arts Festival's Springtime in Paradise show in Northampton, MA, on June 4, 5, and 6. Prizes will be mailed to winners following successful email contact. Winners will have up to 48 hours to respond to notice of award and to provide mailing instructions. If winner fails to respond, an alternate prize winner will be selected.

Sweepstakes is void where prohibited, taxed, or otherwise restricted. The information that you provide in connection with the Sweepstakes may be used for internal purposes and to send you newsletters and other information, but will not be provided to third parties, except as necessary for the administration of the Sweepstakes or as required by law or legal process.

Entries and other submitted material become the property of About.com. and will not be acknowledged or returned. About.com. and those working for them or on their behalf will not be responsible for lost, late, misdirected, damaged, or postage due mail or email and for Internet, computer hardware and software, phone, and other technical errors, malfunctions, and delays. In the event of a dispute concerning who submitted an entry, the entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the holder of the email account.

The sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify or cancel all or any portions of the Sweepstakes because of technical errors or malfunctions, viruses, hackers, or for other reasons that corrupt the Sweepstakes in any manner. Sponsor also reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for any reason.

Officers, directors, representatives, and employees of General Internet Inc., About.com, Paradise City Arts Festival, their affiliates or subsidiaries, or their respective advertising, promotion, publicity, production, and judging agencies and their families and household members, are not eligible to enter.

By entering or accepting a prize in the Sweepstakes, winners agree to be bound by these Official Rules and to comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. All federal, state, and local taxes are the winner’s sole responsibility. The prizes will be awarded. No prize substitutions, transfers, or cash alternatives permitted.

By entering, or accepting a Sweepstakes prize, the winner accepts all of the conditions, restrictions, requirements, and/or regulations required by the Sponsor and also agrees to accept delivery of each prize based upon availability. Unless otherwise prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission to use winner's name and address (city and state) for advertising and publicity purposes for About.com for this and/or similar promotions, without compensation.

Entrants agree to release and hold harmless General Internet Inc., About.com, Paradise City Arts Festival, their respective affiliates and subsidiaries, and each of their directors, officers, employees, agents, successors, and assigns, from any damage, injury, death, loss, or other liability that may arise from entrants’ participation in the Sweepstakes or the awarding, acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize. All entrants agree that United States law shall apply exclusively to the Sweepstakes and that any dispute with respect to the Sweepstakes shall be resolved in either the federal or state courts located in the State of New York.
