Outside My Window
October 19, 2005

October 19, 2005
There's a golden glow outside my window this week. The sun is finally shining on New England once again, and the fall foliage is really starting to pop here in central Connecticut. There's some talk about this being a poor fall foliage season, and certainly our eight straight days of rain put a damper on things and caused some leaves to fall prematurely. For me, though, every vivid red, yellow and orange leaf that hangs on is something to behold and to appreciate. As with all things in life, a New England fall season is as glorious as you make it. Take time to marvel at the diversity, complexity and beauty of nature this week.
