Fall Foliage in Connecticut Window View

September 21, 2006
I'm just back in Connecticut after a week on the road in Maine, and one of the first things I wanted to do was check for color in my view. If you look carefully at the center of this photo, you'll see that there is just a hint of yellow in the foliage outside my window. Up north, there was more early color than I anticipated, so I still think peak foliage will arrive sooner than it has in the past couple of years.
