One of the best things about visiting Old Sturbridge Village is meeting and conversing with the "Village People." Actually, they're more formally called "history interpreters," and they give life to this living history museum with their authentic costumes and intricate knowledge of daily life in 1830s New England. Here, the banker waits inside the Thompson Bank to greet visitors. You can ask him about making a withdrawal, but don't be too disappointed with his answer.
