Book Your Own Maine Moose Safari
Last Updated: 05/15/11
| Now that you've read all about Debby's and my Maine
Moose Safari adventure as the guests of Dale Stevens, professional photographer
and owner of Maine-ly Photos, I'm sure you're
wondering how to book your own great photo safari in the Maine
outdoors. First, visit Dale's Web site to learn more about the scenic photo tours that Maine-ly Photos offers. You'll be able to select from two half-day tour options: the Baxter State Park tour or the West Branch Penobscot River tour. Or, combine them, as we did, for a full day of moose-hunting action. As of 2011, prices are $50 per person, $45 per person for a family of up to four. Reservations are a definite must. Seating is limited, so reserve your spot early. Reservations may be made by calling 207-723-5465. Or, you can email Dale for more information as well. You'll enjoy the trip, no matter what your age or physical ability. If you read my account, you'll know we had the best luck spotting moose when we were in the air-conditioned van! You'll also have an opportunity, if you'd like, to get out of the van and go on some short, not too strenuous hikes to places where moose are frequently spotted. Not only will you see moose, you'll have many opportunities to photograph other wildlife and scenic vistas. Whether you are an experienced photographer or just looking for some great snapshots of your Maine vacation, you'll appreciate Dale's knowledge of the area and his wonderful Maine hospitality. You'll also appreciate not having to wear out your own shocks and tires as you explore the Maine woods. Haven't read about our adventure yet? The story starts here: |
