Yankee Candle’s Fourth Annual Gourmet Day

I'll be signing copies of my new book, "The Everything Guide to New England," at the Yankee Candle flagship store, Routes 5 & 10, South Deerfield, Massachusetts, during the Fourth Annual Gourmet Day. Hope to see you there!

Guests of the store that day will have the opportunity to sign up for 15 special raffles, sample gourmet foods and observe in-store demonstrations by more than a dozen select Yankee Candle vendors. Participating vendors who will be displaying and offering their fare include: Gooseberry Patch Cookbooks (live cooking demo of selected recipe); Sheila's Select (soups and dips); Brown Family Farm (maple candy); Stonewall Kitchen (jams, jellies and condiments); Drew's All Natural (salsas and nachos); Bella Cucina and Private Harvest (gourmet foods); O'Leary & Co. (gourmet teas); Green Mountain Coffee and Shelburne Falls Coffee (gourmet coffee); Annie T's (salad dressings); Harvest Thyme (gourmet seasonings); and Highland Sugarworks (cookies). There will also be cooking demonstrations from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the executive chefs of Yankee Candle's own Chandler's Restaurant.

In addition to the record number of participating vendors in this year's Annual Gourmet Day, there will also be a one-day only 25% discount on the Country Kitchen® line of jar candles and jar candle accessories. Country Kitchen® candles are popular for combining favorites like Banana Cream Pie or Buttermilk Pancakes® with contemporary packaging, including apothecary jars with wooden lids.

The cost is free and the event is open to the public. For more detailed information, call the store toll free at 877 636-7707. The Yankee Candle flagship store is located off I-91 North at Exit 24 or I-91 South at Exit 25.
