This series of free evening readings by nationally and regionally acclaimed poets on the lovely grounds of the Hill-Stead Museum is a summer tradition in central Connecticut. Audiences range from 1,500 to 3,000 people per reading, making it the best-attended event of its type in New England. Festivalgoers can also visit the Hill-Stead Museum, which is well known for its collection of European Impressionist art.
