All Decked Out
The mansion is not the only thing decked out for the holidays during the Victorian Christmas Tours at The Astors' Beechwood in Newport, Rhode Island. Actors and actresses portraying members of the Astor family and their household staff wear period clothing. Here, we meet Mrs. John Jacob Astor IV. Since it is only 1891, we are warned not to say anything to her about her husband's death aboard the Titanic, nor about the fact that he was honeymooning aboard with his second wife.
