In the morning, we gazed out at the ocean tickling the rocky coast as we sipped hot coffee and munched fruit and tender pastries that were featured on the expansive continental breakfast buffet from our own little, windowside table for two. We walked along the wet sands at Harbor Beach, the free public beach across the street from the inn, went shopping at the Kittery outlets, and toured the Red Hook Brewery in nearby Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

We did see horses at the Cellar Pub. It was Kentucky Derby weekend. And let's just say one of them made us a little money.
If you're going... The York Harbor Inn is open year round with room rates ranging from $109 to $239 US during the High Season, the last week of June through August. Value Season rates are available in the spring and fall, and offseason rates apply January through April and November through December. Rates include continental breakfast and use of the outdoor hot tub. A variety of special getaway packages is available. All rooms offer television, phone, data port, clock radio, and iron with ironing board. Some rooms have fireplaces and/or whirlpool tubs. Finding the York Harbor Inn... The York Harbor Inn is located in York Harbor, Maine, off I-95 at exit 4. From I-95 North, bear right off the exit ramp. From I-95 South, you'll turn left at the end of the exit ramp. Bear right at the first set of lights onto Route 1 South. Turn left at the next set of lights onto Route 1A. The inn is three miles up on your left.
