New England Patriots Make Super Bowl Run

The Patriots started their Super Bowl run on 2011's Opening Day at Training Camp. The big guy is 325-pound Defensive Tackle Vince Wilfork, who the Pats will be counting on to thwart the Giants' offense.

New England's NFL team is on the way to its fifth Super Bowl in a decade. When my little girl and I watched the Patriots practice on Opening Day of Training Camp last fall, I already had a good feeling they might be Super Bowl-bound this year. But I never dreamed Super Bowl XLVI would be a rematch with the Giants, who ended the Patriots' perfect 18-0 season in Super Bowl XLII. Avenging that devastating loss would make the Patriots' fourth Super Bowl victory particularly sweet.

The New England Patriots will face the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLVI at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana, on Sunday, February 5, 2012. Kickoff time is 6:30 p.m. EST. Here's a guide for Patriots fans and non-fans to cheering for New England's team and hosting a New England-themed Super Bowl party.
