It's Not Over 'Til the Last Leaf Falls!

Wednesday October 22, 2008
Southeastern Connecticut is at peak now. There are still leaves to see south of Boston, as well as in New York's Hudson Valley and on Long Island. If you're hitting the road this weekend, stay south, and you can still see a good foliage show. Use my Leaf Alert guide to find current online foliage reports for all of the New England states and neighboring New York, or call one of the region's toll-free hotlines for up-to-date foliage reports and forecasts before you leave home.

Thank you to Lien Nguyen for sharing this photo of fall in Massachusetts. Click the image to see a larger view. Have you captured some fabulous fall images this year? Here's how to submit them for publication.

And, if you've been watching the leaves change outside my window with me, you'll see that there have been some dramatic changes this week.
