It's Strawberry Season!

Wednesday June 8, 2005
StrawberriesJune is strawberry season in New England, and nothing quite says summer's here like strawberry shortcake piled high with whipped cream and featuring ripe, juicy strawberries you plucked yourself. Here's a quick round-up of pick-your-own strawberry fields in New England. Once you've harvested your own gorgeous berries, whip up a sweet treat with my collection of Strawberry Recipes from New England. If you really love strawberries, I'll even tell you how you can give thanks for the harvest at a Strawberry Thanksgiving Celebration at the Mashantucket Pequot Museum in Connecticut.

For the Kids: Free Strawberry Coloring Page for the car ride to the berry patch!
