Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!

Wednesday February 23, 2005
Dr. Seuss National MemorialSpringfield, Massachusetts, native and beloved children's author Dr. Seuss would have been 101 years old next Wednesday, March 2. Celebrate the man behind the Cat in the Hat and other beloved characters with a visit to the Dr. Seuss National Memorial at the Quadrangle in Springfield, where you can look a Lorax in the eyes, put your arm around the Grinch and tell Sam I Am what you really think of his green eggs and ham! Can't get to Massachusetts? Read a Seuss tale to your favorite little one. Here's a list of my favorite Dr. Seuss books.
