Go North for Leaves this Weekend

Wednesday September 24, 2003
Squam River Foliage PictureNew Hampshire reports that foliage color is well-established in the Great North Woods. New York State is reporting that colors are nearing the mid-point in the northern Adirondacks. It looks like you'll need to head north to see prime foliage this weekend. Use my Leaf Alert guide to find online foliage reports for all of the New England states, or call one of the region's toll-free hotlines for up-to-date foliage reports and forecasts. Thank you to Judy Blomquist for submitting the New Hampshire foliage photo at right. Click the image for a larger view. To see more foliage pictures, visit the Fall Picture Gallery.
